Volunteer Opportunities
@ Studio Friction
Below are a list of our volunteer opportunities, responsibilities, and compensation. If you would like to be added to our volunteer roster please email volunteercommittee@studiofriction.com with subject Volunteers and the position(s) you are interested in doing in the body.
Event Check-in:
- Greet members
- Use software system to check-in folks.
- Checking ID of everyone entering the studio
- Make sure that out Code of Conduct & Waivers are signed
- Follow and help maintain COVID safety precautions
- Does not require a regular or weekly commitment
Party Hospitality:
- Be visible & available for folks with questions
- Chat with unfamiliar folks and first timers
- Refill drinks, snacks, and water
- Does not require a weekly or regular commitment
Studio Cleaner:
- Cleaning of Studio Friction (more information given if interested)
- Does not require a regular or weekly commitment
Work Day Volunteer:
- Deep cleaning
- Painting
- Welding
- Staining
- Furniture building
- Other needed activities around the studio based on skills of the volunteer
- Does not require a weekly or regular commitment
Volunteer Benefits: Most shifts are 2-2.5 hrs
(If you have a membership already and volunteer, the membership will be extended for one month to honor the appropriate reward.)
