Studio Friction is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social club. This classification allows us to engage in all of the amazing activities we host here at the studio, and it also means that all the money coming into Studio Friction is invested right back in to the studio to bring better content, better design, and keep our facility beautiful! Every person "working" at Studio Friction does so voluntarily on their own free time!!

Membership is accepted after review with a signed Waiver and Release and agreement to our Code of Conduct.  

Membership Levels at Studio Friction

Wrapped

WRAPPED members pay the standard member price for each event.  

$10 per month (non recurring)

$50 per year

Tied

TIED members gets free admittance to open labs and discounts on classes. 

$25 per month

$250 per year

Bound

BOUND members get free admittance to open labs and parties, and the highest discounts on classes.

$65 per month

Partner Membership - for Groups and Organizations interested in renting space/holding events at Studio Friction. The price is $50/year and grants a 2-hour rental of our small classroom at no charge once a year. Contact office@studiofriction.com if you are interested in becoming a Partner member.

Studio Friction Event Registration Cancellation Policy - Studio Friction requests that you notify us via email at office@studiofriction.com if you are unable to attend a class or other event for which you have registered. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to an event are not eligible for a refund. If you no-show for an event, you are ineligible for a refund.
All cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to an event will receive a full refund.
