Consent is more than knowing the right words or following a set of rules, it is an ongoing practice that requires awareness, reflection, and accountability.
But what happens when consent gets complicated? When harm occurs? When someone makes a mistake, causes impact they did not intend, or realizes they have more to learn?
This month’s community conversation explores the challenges and complexities of accountability in consent culture. Together, we’ll discuss how we can hold ourselves and others accountable, navigate difficult conversations, respond to harm with care, and create opportunities for learning and repair.
This is a space for honest reflection, not perfection. We’ll explore the difference between intent and impact, the role of community responsibility, and how we can continue building cultures where consent, trust, and respect are actively practiced.
Come join a thoughtful conversation about what it means to be human, make mistakes, take responsibility, and keep growing.
