Class Description:

Nerves, muscles, skin…. Let’s get nerdy and talk about our bodies. Rope caries risk, let’s talk about what actually happens when our bodies are damaged. In this class, you will get to learn about what actually happens when a nerve is compressed, common areas to give caution, and tools to help mitigate risk. The key point here is that risk is always there. We will also discuss things like passing out, manipulating joints, and circulation.

Prerequisites:

- No prerequisites, this is a discussion and lecture based classes.

Equipment:

- Comfy clothing

- Something to take notes with 

- Snacks and water

BetwixtBlushes (She/Her) (@BetwixtBlushes)

TheDude and BetwixtBlushes have been tying together for 10 years now. They can often be found giggling and smiling their way through painful, hard rope at local Denver events. They have also had the opportunity to travel around and teach at a variety of conventions, both together and individually.

Important Registration Information:

• All attendees must register and pay online, no admittance or registration at the door.

• Studio friction membership is required to attend to enable us to maintain our 501(c)7 non-profit status (per the IRS we can only earn 30% of our income from non-members). • You must be 19 years of age or older to attend Studio Friction events.
