Surrender: A Conscious Kink Play Party

This is an intimate heart-centered experiential play party that will allow you to Surrender to your desires.
After 8 years of facilitating transformative play parties, Hazel-Grace is passing on their wisdom to highly skilled professionals. Three of them will now be leading a Hazel-Grace Signature Play Party at Studio Friction in downtown Denver, CO.
Who is this for?
This is an event for those who yearn to be in intimate communal space together… have always wanted to attend a play party but have felt too nervous... for those who don't have a partner and feel shy to show up solo… for those who have a partner (or partners) that want to experience being in community together… and for the sexually adventurous souls.
This is a "don't do anything you don't want to do" and "only consensually do what you want to do" event.
This event is a substance and alcohol-free event.
All genders, bodies and orientations are welcome!
The Evening Journey:
We will start warmly and slowly with grounding and connecting to self. Together we will create the safest possible sex-positive container to Surrender to curiosity, play, and pleasure!
In the opening circle, you will be guided through a series of partner-based exercises that will allow you to Surrender into the layers of embodied consent, desire, and sensation. During the touch or talk based exercises and games, we will rotate to new pairs so that you can create many meaningful connections before we transition to free play time.
With our warmth rising and juicy connections, we will shift from the structured portion of the evening and move into open and free play. The facilitators will be in the space to continue to support the group and anyone who may be needing some support.
During the free play portion of the evening, sensation and kink tasting stations will be available for everyone to enjoy a variety of experiences.

Facilitated by Kat Rose, Marji Kizmahas, and David Hawke, who were all trained by Hazel-Grace. Along with co-facilitators Nate Switchtext and Amanda, they will continue to host transformative play parties at Studio Friction and other venues in Colorado.
Kat Rose (she/her) is a kinky, sex positive activist whose polyamorous heart loves performing, facilitating and supporting sensual events. Her life's mission is to be a beacon of unconditional love, and to share that love by supporting people in their full expression in expansive, luscious containers. She is an operations and organizational wizard who has a knack for bringing visions of all scales and flavors to life. Her background in tarot and the mystic supports these missions.
Marji (she/her) has been a poly kinkster for most of her life. She has been involved with the Colorado kink/leather community since 2014 as a volunteer, service top, presenter, facilitator, and organizer. She uses play to encourage more vulnerability, intimacy, and connection in the world. Her trauma-informed training as a bodyworker and somatic coach informs her role as a fairy kink mother.
Hawke (he/him) is poly and has been in the kink/leather community since 2008. He is a kink educator, presenter, and performer throughout the Denver Metro and Colorado Springs areas. He is a servant leader with experience organizing/facilitating events and empowering authentic self-realization. He has a passion for creating spaces to help others find acceptance and explore desires in alternative lifestyles.
Switchtext (he/him) Switchtext is a creative and a co-founder of Studio Friction. He is more interested in sensations and understanding the elements of rope bondage than mastering someone’s specific pattern. Switchtext has been tying for 19 years. He has learned so much in that time and enjoys knowing he has so much more to learn. He loves creating spaces that invite pleasure and encourage exploration of all the things we desire. He is Poly, Pan, Playfull.
Amanda (she/her) is a total sex nerd, both personally and professionally. As an educator and sex therapist, she provides knowledge about kink, sexuality, consensual nonmonogamy, intimacy, desire, and navigating trauma recovery. From the classroom to the therapy room to the conference room to the play space, she is an intersectional, trauma-informed, and sex-positive provocateur hoping to instigate thoughtful dialogue and dispel shame related to all things kinky and sexy.
