Intermediate course 3

When: Sundays 6:00-8:00 pm 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26

Description:

This is the final section of our intermediate series. You must have completed the intermediate 2 series or tested out of it in order to take this class. 

In this course we’ll cover some ways to turn all of the technical stuff into fun scenes, start moving our partners around in partials, learn the key information around torsions, and introduce you to transitions. 

Requirements: 

- If you have not completed Intermediate 1 & 2 at Studio Friction you will need to test into Intermediate 3. Please send an email to office@studiofriction.com or reach out to one of the inductors. 

- Must have a solid understanding of a couple chest harnesses and hip harness (likely from taking Beginner 1 and 2, and Intermediate 1 and 2)

- Experience with load lines and suspension

- All needed hardware and gear. 

- 8-12 bundles of rope 25’-30’ in length

TheDude (he/him)

TheDude has been tying for... a long time. Thanks to the opportunities provided by Denver Rope Bite and Studio Friction's efforts, he has had some amazing opportunities to learn from presenters around the globe. Pre-Covid he could often be found at parties and events having fun scenes, teaching and occasionally performing. These days he is focusing on play at home but still trying to build community through smaller, more focused, educational opportunities..

BetwixtBlushes (she/her)

BetwixtBlushes is a regular in the Denver scene since 2015. She is an enthusiast of discussion groups, bottoms speaking up (especially in class), and thigh high socks. If you hear giggling, she's often the culprit.

Important Information:

• Studio Friction membership is required to attend curriculum courses to enable us to maintain our 501(c)7 non-profit status. If you're not a member but interested in attending you can purchase a one-month membership for $10. Learn more by clicking here.
• It is your responsibility to attend each class session. Course curriculum is typically sequential. Course instructors are not responsible for offering make-up classes or catching students up on missed material. (Note that some instructors will offer private lessons for missed classes at $100 for 2 hour lesson)
• Be on time for class. Instructors are not responsible for waiting for late attendees.
• Registration & payment required in advance.
• Bring a photo ID that matches the name listed in your online registration for admittance.
• No refunds or credits on cancellations within 72 hours of the first class (contact office@studiofriction.com with extenuating circumstances.) 
• No refunds or credits for missed class sessions.
• You must be at least 19 years old to attend events at Studio Friction.
