Cultivating Compersion

with Amanda Jepson

Class Description:

Description: "Compersion" is often described as the opposite of jealousy—the ability to experience genuine joy and happiness in your partner’s pleasure or success, especially in romantic and intimate contexts. Except, few know that it's a learned skill! We will explore how to cultivate compersion, even in situations that may initially trigger feelings of insecurity, envy, or fear. While compersion is often associated with polyamorous relationships, the emotional skills involved in building compersion can be beneficial in all kinds of relationships, from friendships to monogamous partnerships. Learn more on how to to transform difficult emotions into deeper connection and emotional growth as well as foster healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
