Three (or 4) Transition Sequences

Join Kazami Ranki at Studio Friction for a 5 hour workshop on suspension transitions. This class is an intermediate to advanced class that will work with transitions in suspension.

In this class we will cover:

• A selection of TK variations with a transition suspension sequence.
• Side suspension to Futomomo (leg tie) transition suspension sequence
• Inversion suspension to a Futomomo (leg tie) suspension sequence
• (If time allows) Face up suspension to Futomomo (leg tie) suspension

There will be a 1 hour lunch break during this class

All students will be expected to have suspension experience and riggers expected to have solid experience in basic up-line management. Participants should be able to tie a suspension worthy chest and hip harness. As always, everyone is welcome to participate up to their own comfort level or just observe the class.

Riggers will need a full (8-15) rope kit, rigging plate/ring and a few carabiners.

Kazami Ranki – He/Him

Kazami Ranki resides in Osaka Japan where he is the organizer of many SM events in Tokyo and Osaka. Known as the "Atrocious Nawashi", Kazami Ranki has been tying for over 25 years. His style (Kazami-Ryu) is known internationally for it's focus on his partners comfort, the strength of the ties, the unique patterns he has created, and his unmatched ability to accentuate the beauty and essence in those he ties.
