    Each non-member attendee needs to register themselves to sign all wavers and the code of conduct.
  • This registration slot is used to track who is assisting with checking in at the door and cleaning up at the end of the night.

Self-Suspension SATURDAYS

COST: FREE FOR BOUND AND TIED MEMBERS |

$10 FOR WRAPPED MEMBERS | $20 FOR Non-members

On the second Saturday of each month, self-tying and self-suspending enthusiasts are encouraged to take over the main floor of Studio Friction! Every evening begins with a quick demo or tie along for any interested in self-supenders. Attendees are welcomed to participate or free to tie/suspend themselves. Self-suspenders are encouraged to bring a partner or friend as a spotter though this is not required. Group spotters will be available throughout the event. Beginners are welcome. Skill sharing among attendees is encouraged, but not required.

All other types of rope folx are welcome and encouraged to come as well and tie upstairs or in the champagne room. It's a night for all folk to practice and enjoy rope together.

Important event information:

  • You must arrive by 6pm so that our event volunteers have time to relax and play too.
  • Registration & payment required online in advance.
  • Bring a photo ID that matches the name listed in your online registration for admittance.
  • No refunds or credits on cancellations within 24 hours of event (contact office@studiofriction.com with extenuating circumstances)
  • You must be at least 19 years old to attend events at Studio Friction.
