Intro to Dynamic Suspensions Sequences

We will show different patterns of suspension ties and sequences that we enjoy tying. We will do the sequence for the class then the class will have time to play with it. We will do 4 sequences per day and give about an hour and a half for each one. This is not going to be a TK intensive. There will be a variety of chest harnesses. Participants will watch a demo of a tying sequence and then have the opportunity to try the sequence themselves through hands-on exploration and practice. There will be 4 different sequences shown and practiced during the workshop.

Tie options:

Tengu with leg tie / Compression and stretch tie

Arms and legs in Futo sequence (very challenging)

M&M Box tie with hip harness or gunslinger sequence

Bunny ear sequence and finishing in cross legged pose.

About the Instructors:

Gentleebrutal (he/him)

Gentleebrutal was introduced into the world of kink in 2012. Rope was my entry point into this world and since then my passion continues to keep growing. I love the intimacy, connection, and trust one can build within rope and a person. The energy and creativity I receive from these moments are an endless journey of growth and discovery. I am lucky enough to have had great mentors that have taught me the beauty of Kinbaku.

Gentleebrutal has taught classes for CARE/SORE, private lessons, ARS, and SADDE all in Austin, Tx.

The world of kink has opened up an amazing journey in my life and when I discovered rope it quickly became a huge enjoyment of mine. The place it takes me, along with the challenge, is a blissful feeling. I love the animalistic energy I feel flow through me and the joy I receive from pushing and continuing to learn new things. Connecting, growing, and energy are very important to me and I love when that comes through in my ties.

Prerequisites and Equipment:

Class Level 3: 

For tops: Experience and confidence with multiple suspendable harnesses and with static and dynamic transitions. Ability to manage unexpected challenges as they arise in a safe manner.

For bottoms: Experience with transition in suspension and/or ground, deep understanding of your own rope preferences and placement, responses, bodily needs, and limits.

For both: Skilled ability to negotiate, communicate, and create physical and emotional safety for partner(s)

Have a solid understanding of a box tie, tension and rope placement.

Be proficient with uplines.
