Are you interested in suspension but aren’t yet confident about rope safety? Do you like the look of meat wrapped in plastic at the grocery store and wish your lovely bottom was similarly wrapped? Are you tired of topping/bottoming for the same ol’ rope suspension scene and wonder ‘hey, what’s next for me?!?’ Want to take your mummification game to the next level? Come learn the whimsical and sexy AF art of plastic wrap suspension. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to help suspend one of the demo bottoms while learning practical skills in case you ever need to work in a warehouse and wrap palettes. We’ll go over safety, material choices, and you’ll walk out with the know-how to go top/bottom for your own suspension!

Equipment will be provided.  This is an all levels class.  It is helpful if both top and bottom have some suspension experience.  We will pair up in teams of 3-4.

About the Instructor:

Mx Bliss (she/they) is a joyful sadomasochist, sensation empath, consent enthusiast, rope switch, self suspender, and lifestyle quinkster (queer kinkster). They identify as Daddy AF, on both sides of the slash. Bliss is having the time of their life discovering all the ways to connect with BDSM and rope and is eager to share the joy. They co-facilitate AlternaRope, a celebration of diversity in rope and co-hosts the Friction pop-up events. She also produces the Jiffy Kink events and runs Studio Bound in Portland, Oregon. Both in vanilla and kink worlds, MxBliss frequently presents on negotiation, consent, and diversity/equity/inclusion. With some trepidation, she is starting to teach rope classes. She loves all the feedback, especially the kind that will help her grow and have her intention better mirror the impact of her behavior/words.
