Class Description:

A class gears towards both beginners looking for a place to start, and experienced rope handlers who may be interested in varietizing their kit. With so many options, which rope do you choose? (You mean there’s not just one??) Join me as we talk through the different rope types, advantages/disadvantages of both, and things to consider as you make your own choice in rope purchase. We will be covering a passion of mine, which is synthetic rope as opposed to natural fibers, so be prepared to see something different and ask questions! My play partner will be joining us from a Bottom’s perspective to share their experience on how each feels as we demonstrate some simple ties with different ropes, highlighting some of their unique uses.

About the Instructors: 

Ropeosaur (she/Daddy Fox) (She/Daddy Fox) A genderfluid and Sadistic rigger whose dynamic style keeps Bottoms on their toes. Passionate about every BODY belonging in rope, Ropeosaur values diversity, openly working with chronic pain and partners of varying body shapes, sizes, and gender-identities. Outside of kink, Ropeosaur is a full-time healthcare professional with a Master’s degree and Plant Daddy to their garden. Ropeosaur also hosts a monthly, private, Queer Rope Jam with the Cyrenaics, where she is fostering the growth of the future of Queer/femme rope. New to teaching, Ropeosaur hopes to inspire others into their capacity of Topping, regardless of size or gender expression.
