Class Description:

We don't always have a top or bottom around to satisfy certain ropey desires. But that's ok. Exploration through self tying is another great way to connect via rope, and with a very important person-- yourself! 

Join Avid for a self tying class that offers floorwork exercises to explore your own body in rope. Afterwards, a hip harness pattern will be taught for a short exploration of partial suspension positions that are fun and can be made restful or challenging depending on your mood. 

Prerequisites and Equipment:

Recommended to bring at 2-5 30' lengths of rope and some suspension hardware (i.e. carabiners) if you'd like to participate in the suspension portion.

• All attendees must register and pay online, no admittance or registration at the door.
• Photo ID is required to be admitted and must match the name listed in your online registration.
• You must be 19 years of age or older to attend events at Studio Friction.
• No refunds or credits on cancellations within 24 hours of event (contact us for extenuating circumstances).

• All attendees must sign a COVID waiver as part of online registration and submit to a symptom check including a no touch temperature check.
  
• Masks required for all attendees at Studio Friction, regardless of vaccination status.
  
• All attendees must provide either: 
• Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, or 
  
• Results of negative COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours of the event you are attending. The name on your COVID vaccine or test documentation must match the name on your ID.
