Class Description:

This class will focus on managing load lines during full and partial suspensions.  It is suitable for riggers who are just starting to suspend as well as for more experienced riggers.  The class will cover a series of tips and tricks that can help you tie faster, safer and will give your suspensions a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.  During the class we will discuss the pros and cons of the hardware you could attach to (rings, rigging plates, carabiners, bamboo, etc.), various ways to tie off load lines, what to do with extra rope, how to connect load lines to the bottom, and tips for lifting and lowering safely.  The class will be a combination of demonstrations and hands-on practice.  If you feel comfortable suspending, you will be able to practice what you learn with your bottom.  If you are new to suspending, you can practice many of the techniques either as a partial suspension or by suspending your rope bag.

Equipment Required:

Bring a rope kit with 6-8 standard length ropes, any suspension gear you have (rings, rigging plates or carabiners) and a safety cutter.
