Class Description:

“It is always by way of pain one arrives at pleasure.” And in the world of kink if it was said by Marquis de Sade, it must be true. Maybe you are curious about or new to the exploration of receiving or administering pain. Or maybe you have heard of or experienced the phenomenon of scene-space, and you wonder how this state of bliss works on a biological level. My goal for this class is to provide you with the scientific basis of how pain is processed by the body and why we can get high, floaty, or enter scene-space in response to pain. I will also provide considerations that may allow you to leverage these neuropathways in a scene to extract every last drop of euphoria.

About our Presenter:

g

(she/her)

g is a bottom and masochist who instantly found a home in the kink community at the time of her entry in 2013. She is drawn to the physical and mental challenges of physically demanding and painful scenes and enjoys exploring ways to push her own limits while growing as an empowered partner. Through her work outside of kink, g has received training in the health sciences and enjoys opportunities where she can combine her scientific background with her favorite recreational pastime.
