with Creative Mayhem & Avalanche

Cost:

$20/pair for BOUND - $50/pairTIED members - $70/pair for WRAPPED

Note: you must register and pay online, no admittance or registration at the door

About the class:

This class is for people who are comfortable suspending and who are new to transitions. In this class, we will step through Kinoko’s Cyber-rope transition sequence. Although no transition sequence is easy, this is generally considered an easier sequence. This is also a great sequence to stir up the creativity.

Prerequisites:

Riggers must be able to tie a suspension worthy 3 Rope TK or equivalent chest harness and must be comfortable tying suspension lines. Experience with a hip harness is helpful, but we will be going over the Kinoko hip harness in class. Bottoms must have experience in suspension, preferably with the rigger they are taking the class with. If you are uncertain if you meet these prerequisites, please check with Creative Mayhem ahead of time.

Equipment:

Every tying pair will need about 10-12 lengths of rope in good condition (however many you need for suspension, plus a couple more), suspension point hardware (carabiners, rigging plate, or ring), and a cutting implement. At least one extra carabiner is strongly recommended. An aftercare blanket and/or pillow is optional but nice to have.

About our instructors:

Creative Mayhem

He/Him/His

Creative Mayhem has been practicing japanese style rope bondage since 2008, including studying in Japan. He helped found Denver Rope Bite in 2012, helped build Studio Friction in 2017 and has presented and performed internationally. Some of his personal influences are Osada Steve, Barkas, and the late Yukimura Haruki.

Avalanche

She/Her/Hers

Avalanche has been involved in the Denver kink scene since 2018. She is a strong advocate for lowering barriers to entering the kink scene for others and, to that end, has helped to organize Boulder TNG social and educational events since 2019. Despite being a self-proclaimed “endobitionist” (the polar opposite of an exhibitionist), her passion for education has started to overcome her distaste for the spotlight. Her background in engineering and her experience working in advocacy non-profits gives her teaching style a mixture of thorough analysis and relatable communication.

IMPORTANT, for our friends safety and health:
