This class will cover the basics of rope safety and how to do at least two ties that you will be able use right away to keep yourself or your partner secure for whatever fun you have planned next.

xiaoyi was introduced to this lifestyle  in 2010. She is a slaveheart and bootblack. She teaches about consensual slavery, bootblacking, BDSM, relationships, poly and many other topics.  She is poly-play and omni-sensual.  She has the honor of being the Southwest Bootblack 2016. She is a rope switch and helped coteach the Denver Shibari Jam for 6 years. She flags orange and Leather Worship.

xiaoyi’s mission is to help create understanding and acceptance among people for each to learn and grow and be as they are. She works to do this through education and demystification.  She is a lifestyle coach and mentor who openly shares of her journey in hopes that she might help others who face similar challenges.

With the studio partially open and everyone practicing good social distancing, Studio Friction is still running some online classes for folks to be safer, social, and learn some rope! Pay on a sliding scale for the Thursday night classes ($5 - $10 - $20). Once registered you will receive the Zoom Meeting link where you can tie yourself or tie someone your social distancing with**!
