Virtual 101 for Studio Friction
Communication is arguably the most important part of participating in rope bondage. Strong communication creates safer and better rope scenes. But what’s important to say? And how much? And what’s the best way to give feedback? Or receive it gracefully?
Whether you’re a top or a bottom, it is imperative that you are able to communicate effectively with your partner. Between having different interpretations for safe words, to highly technical names for ties in a language many Westerners don’t speak, this can be a daunting task. Furthermore, for those who enjoy adding a D/s or authority exchange in their rope dynamics, it can add another layer of complication as the bottom needs to be able to give feedback to their top around their comfort, safety, and capacity. In these time-sensitive moments, clarity is crucial.
In this class, athena will share some basics guidelines for creating strong and clear communication to use during rope bondage, as well as effective ways to create shared communication standards between you and your partners.
This class is open and welcome to people of any experience level.
