Description:

Hoopla! is designed to bring aerial hoop to the shibari community. Basic mounts, dismounts, poses, and spins will be introduced in a curriculum tailored to both flyers and riggers to build strength, flexibility, endurance, and inspiration for use on the ground and in the air. No prior aerial experience is necessary.

Bio:

Sarah Baer found her love for aerial arts in 2011, while taking community circus class in Cardiff, Wales. After finishing her Masters degree in Neuroimaging Methods and Applications in 2014, she returned to her hometown of Houston and has been teaching aerial arts ever since. Sarah has practiced shibari since 2012, and has a passion for exploring the applications of aerial skills to rope bondage both on and off the ground.
