KAZAMI RANKI - Split Leg
Suspension Transitions

Class Description: Join Kazami Ranki Sunday at Studio Friction for a 6.5 hour intensive to include an hour lunch break. During the first half of this intensive we will master the Split Leg suspension transition into the Yoko Tsuri (side suspension). After lunch we will then move to an Split Leg suspension to Hashigata Tsuri (Hip suspension) to inversion. With each transition you will learn each tie needed to execute them correctly. Time permitting, after the first two ties are mastered, Kazami Ranki will teach another bonus tie!

What To Bring To Class: This class will require use of 10 (8m or 30ft) ropes and 6 carabiners or equivalent suspension ring.

About Kazami Ranki: Kazami Ranki resides in Osaka Japan where he is the organizer of many SM events in Tokyo and Osaka. Known as the "Atrocious Nawashi", Kazami Ranki has been tying for over 25 years. His style (Kazami-Ryu) is known internationally for it's focus on his partners comfort, the strength of the ties, the unique patterns he has created, and his unmatched ability to accentuate the beauty and essence in those he ties.
