Cynna Hosted by Knotty Queers
At Studio Friction
August 18, 2018 2-5PM
Please join Knotty Queers and Studio Friction in welcoming Cynna from Austin, TX for a very special 3 hours of teaching on August 18th from 2-5 PM. Everyone is welcome to tie and be tied at this event!
PRAYER HANDS-REVERSE TK: 2-3:30 PM
Traditional Takate Gote’s can be difficult for any bottom. For those who are more top heavy or have limited flexibility, this alternative box tie is the perfect thing for you. This front hands TK is extremely sustainable for bigger bodies and prevents shoulder strain and possible exhaustion as seen in a traditional TK. Personally this harness saved me as a bottom, I don’t know what I would do without it. Don’t focus on the patterns! Modify placements and chest straps to make this harness your own. Load from any angle with options to create all the shapes.
Both riggers and bottoms should be experienced in suspension, be able to communicate through ties, and have safety tools.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN: 3:30-5 PM
Tie along/ Lab
Often times we find classes centered around a pattern rather than the needs of our bodies and mind. Instead, let’s look at the strengths of the bottom and top and come together to make a sequence that fits what you are wanting out of your moments together.
Bottoms will write down their favorite chest harness, hip harness, and favorite position.
Tops will write down the same. Trade cards and talk about what you two as a team want to tie.
During this time the space is open to ask questions, lab out position placement for bands, and see where to load and where not to load. How can I make this tie better? What do I need to work on outside of class?
Throughout the class Cynna will be giving tips and tricks for tying alternative body types and ready to help in tying her front hands TK from the class before.
Feel free to do ground work, partials, or suspension (if experienced in suspension safety and has safety tools present).
