Acknowledging and working with performance anxiety in open lifestyles
The unique sexual aspects that we love about the lifestyle also bring some sexual challenges with erection issues even for men who have never had them before. Often, we don’t talk about them or even know how to deal with them in a constructive way.
In this class we will talk about the three main reasons for erection problems; hormonal, physiological and psychological with the focus of our attention on the psychological aspect of performance anxiety. We will explore the unique aspects of the lifestyle that can increase the likelihood of performance anxiety, what to do about it, and just as important, what NOT to do about it. We will finish the session with a therapeutic guided imagery designed to reduce and improve performance anxiety.
About our Speaker:
Dr. Rhoda Lipscomb, PhD is an Alternative Sexuality Specialist, AASECT certified sex therapist with a certification in clinical hypnosis and has a private practice in the Denver metro area. Her new book ‘No More Hiding: Permission to Love your Sexual Self’ is a guide to those who are interested in exploring areas of alternative sexuality.
