Sensory, Sensuality, and Rope

with GoodFoxy

Pay on a sliding scale for this class ($5 - $10 - $20)

With covid still effecting us, Studio Friction is open with some restrictions and limited capacity. Virtual classes are a great way to stay connected and stay learning. Once registered you will receive the Zoom meeting link.

Class Description:

What sensory experiences do you crave, or make you recoil, or fuel connection in your life? What does sensuality look like, sound like, feel like for you? Take this opportunity to reflect on your sensory preferences and needs in life and how those may translate to experiences with rope. This class will discuss how sensuality with rope can be intentionally created based on your own definition of sensuality. Consider how to communicate your sensory desires and connect through sensuality with a partner. This class is designed for folx to attend both solo and with partners. Any level of rope experience is welcome. You do not need to know how to tie ANY patterns to have a sensory-based, sensual rope experience with yourself, or with others. There will be a demonstration and time for participants to engage in practice being sensual with rope.

About our Presenter:

GoodFoxy

(she/her/they/them)

GoodFoxy has been bottoming in rope for about 2 years and has been learning to top rope for about a year (with some significant interruptions…sigh 2020). She is a volunteer for Studio Friction and can frequently be seen welcoming folx to Wednesday night Open Labs. They identify as a queer/bi, kinky, cis, woman and fiercely determined (still recovering) breast cancer warrior and burlesque dancer. GoodFoxy is deeply sensory-driven in life and is also fascinated by people and relationships. She loves her son, her kitten-cattens, drinking lattes on a porch in the morning, dancing/exercise, challenging their body, social justice and feminism, and being tied/tortured until she can’t speak.
