Class Description:

Rope bottoming is so much more than just strength, flexibility, communication, endurance, or pain tolerance. So how do we define what “good” or successful rope bottoming is? Join us as we examine emotional barriers to enjoying rope (including scarcity mentality and not being "good enough"), and how we address and quiet these insecurities. How does the community influence our perceptions of success? Given that success is such a subjective concept, how can we better support each other in getting what we want out of rope? How might our own privilege impact our perception of success in rope? What can we do for ourselves to feel successful, and what do we need from our partnerships? What pisses you off about how successful rope bottoming is defined? What makes you feel good in rope, and what doesn’t? Bring your thoughts, gripes, questions, etc. as we delve into this complex topic.

About our Presenter:

@BetwixtBlushes
(She/Her)

BetwixtBlushes is a Denver scene regular. She was mostly excited by the prospect to get in the air multiple times...just to shake off the rust. But really, she is looking forward to discussing communication, processing, and other skills with everyone.
